Gino set up Good2know Hospitality in 2017 during a time when the cocktail market was heading towards its popularity peak. Starting as a dish washer to then training as a cocktail bartender within some of Bournemouth’s most elite venues he moved onto offering his services to small garden gatherings and hosting cocktail classes, before leaving for management positions across the UK and Spain within a number of established venues, restaurants and nightclubs. On return from a successful number of seasons in Spain he quickly re-built and established Good2know as the most prominent pop-up bar and staff agency for the most discerning cliental and leading industry suppliers within Dorset and Hampshire. Constantly brainstorming to develop the business model, level of service and product offerings he has set-up collaborations with many other event organisers and caterers, where you are likely to see Good2know hospitality on show across the South. A specialist in large scale event recruitment, training, and of course the art of mixology, he now oversees the day to day operations of over 100+ hospitality staff and smaller pocket teams across the UK, with a passion on passing his knowledge to the next generation and to take this company National with our newly accredited training programmes, 2023 will be a very busy year indeed!

Hanna started with G2K behind the bars and waitressing for our regular clients, with the flexible hours it gave her a chance to study accounting. After completing AAT Level 2 she took on a bookkeeping role for the company. Although she's now behind a desk, she still attends staff training events to meet the recruits and organise payroll, and still enjoys hopping behind the bar every so often as you can't always take the bartender out of the bookkeeper

Sarah joined the team in summer 2023. With over 5+ years experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Web Design & Graphic Design her knowledge of Events and the Hospitality Industry spans over 8+ years. We are constantly on the look out for new and existing talent from within the hospitality industry specialising in all roles and offering all levels of service to our clients across the UK. We currently recruit and employ temporary postitions to a variety of major venues, festivals, event suppliers, bars, restaurants and of course for our own party packages throughout the year.

In an ideal World we are after those with plenty of experience, but know all too well since Covid and Brexit this something that is becoming harder to accomplish. As a recruitment company and a course provider we will offer free, basic practical training for those who are starting out, once completed and passing starter exams, you are guaranteed a part-time position with us with a minimum wage of £10 per hour.

Moving on from this and once passing a probation period upon completiton of a certain amount of hours we then give advanced training in front of house, up-selling, product knowledge, cocktail service and supervisory duties. Upon completion of the advanced courses, practical exams and completion of hours your basic hourly wage will increase to £15-20ph and all expenses reimbursed when out on our events.

  • Have you a minimum two years full-time experience within a fast paced, high turnover service environment?

  • Knowledgable and confident with products, wine pairing, spec sheets, and classic cocktails/dishes. (We will need to see evidence of this)

  • Confident in providing a 5* level of service for exclusive clientele, and wealthy net worth individuals.

  • Understand the legal aspects of bar service, and the night time industry.

  • Work well within a team? Remain calm under pressure, engage and entertain a crowd individually.

  • Able to provide at least two references?
